The Davis Senior Center is accepting registration for classes designed to provide relief for aches and pains associated with daily activities.

The Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes help adults move with greater ease and flexibility. Lessons use a method of movement exploration consisting of slow, easy movement sequences within each student’s comfort range. Students will learn to move more efficiently and smoothly, lessening risk of injury.

Classes meet from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays for continuing students and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for beginners, at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St.

February classes will focus on making the tasks of gardening effortless, instructor Jeannette Hogan reports. The cost for the four-week series is $22; new sessions begin every month.

Participants should wear comfortable clothes, which can be layered for warmth, and bring a towel.

To register, visit the Senior Center or go online to www.cityofdavis.org. For more information, call the city at 530-757-5696 or contact Hogan at 530-848-8432 or jhoganfeld@gmail.com.
