Want a workout that helps you tone, sculpt and burn calories? Sign up for zumba, which meets from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Fridays at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St.

Zumba is a fun and easy way to get fit through high-energy Latin dance music. No dance experience is necessary, and participants of all levels of fitness and ability are encouraged to attend.

Instructor Rika Matsuda will get hips and feet moving through a combination of dance steps such as merengue, reggaetone and salsa. Zumba also incorporates fitness exercises such as bicep curls and knee lifts.

The weekly class costs $17 for four sessions. To register, stop by the Senior Center, call 530-757-5696 or visit www.cityofdavis.org.
