Get recycling tips at workshop

By From page A4 | August 15, 2014

Have you ever wondered whether something is recyclable? Where your recycling goes? Why paper needs to be sorted separately from plastics, glass and cans?
Get the answers to these questions and more at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at a recycling workshop led by city of Davis recycling expert Jennifer Gilbert at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St. Follow where the recycling goes, how it’s separated, and end with some tips on how to make recycling simpler at home or work.
Davis residents who attend may enter to win free recycling bins. RSVP in advance to increase your chances of winning a prize.
This event is free and open to all. Sign up by calling the center at 530-757-5696.
