Gibson House Writers welcome guests

By From page A4 | February 05, 2013

The Gibson House Writers will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at 512 Gibson Road in Woodland. Guests are welcome to visit to see if the writing group is a good match for their needs.

Sponsored by the Yolo County Historical Museum and the Gibson House, this is a read-and-critique writing group whose members are working on fiction, nonfiction and lyrical prose. Reservations are requested and a $10 donation is suggested.

The facilitator is Benicia writer Kristine Mietzner. Her unpublished book, “Matisse in Winter,” is a finalist in the San Francisco Writers Conference 2013 writing competition in the category of adult fiction.

For more information on the Gibson House Writers, contact Mietzner at [email protected] or 707-319-4228.
