Golf, concert benefit Blue & White Foundation

Celebrate the coming of summer and the end of the school year on Saturday, May 21, at Wildhorse Golf Course, 2323 Rockwell Drive. Enjoy a day of golf or an evening of music and help support Davis High’s nonprofit alumni association, the DHS Blue & White Foundation.

Tee-off for the seventh annual BWF Golf Tournament is set for 10 a.m. Golfers have a chance to win a 2012 Honda Civic, among other prizes. Tournament registration includes greens fees, cart rental, range balls, a goodie bag, dinner and a ticket to the evening concert.

At 5 p.m., the musical fun begins with the return of BWF’s Concert on the Green featuring bands One Eyed Rhyno, Uncle Tony, Downhill from Here and Smack Jupiter. Concert tickets may be purchased in advance or at the concert, $10 per adult and $5 for ages 10 and under. Food and beverages from The Graduate, Jamba Juice and Dos Coyotes will be available for purchase.

The whole family is welcome; bring lawn chairs and blankets.
