The Winters Healthcare Foundation’s board of directors invites golfers to spend a day at the Yocha Dehe Golf Course at Cache Creek Casino and Resort in its 11th annual golf tournament fundraiser. The tourney takes place Sunday, May 19, and features a four-person scramble format with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

A grab-and-go breakfast will be provided for all golfers to enjoy before their round of 18 holes begins. Lunch, an awards ceremony and an auction will follow the tournament in the golf clubhouse.

The registration fee of $150 includes cart and green fees, breakfast, luncheon. The deadline to sign up is May 9. Non-golfers may attend the lunch for $40.

Proceeds will help fund health care for more than 2,000 residents annually in Winters and the surrounding area. The nonprofit Winters Healthcare Foundation provides prenatal, pediatric, family practice, behavioral health and dental care in western Yolo and northern Solano counties. In 2012, the foundation provided more than $400,000 in charity care for the people of Winters and the surrounding communities.
