Unity Center of Davis is sponsoring a Dream Group starting Tuesday, Jan. 8. This group will explore the rich world of dreams through group work.

Janet Beach, certified dream work practitioner, will facilitate eight weekly two-hour evening sessions that will explore the multiple layers of meaning and insights of participants’ dreams.

In what Beach describes as a safe and confidential environment, the sessions’ purpose is to:

* Learn a responsible way to work with dreams in a group;

* Work together on two group member dreams a week; and

* Build community and support each other’s growth.

Beach trained with Jeremy Taylor, a dream work teacher and author. She received certification from Taylor’s Marin Institute for Projective Dream Work. In addition, she holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and a master’s degree in research and evaluation.

The weekly group will meet at Unity Center of Davis conference room, 1260 Lake Blvd., from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Feb. 26. Participants are asked to commit to the entire eight-week session. The suggested donation is $85.

Group size will be a minimum eight and no more than 15 participants. To register, visit www.unityofdavis.org. For more information, call Don Morrill at 530-757-2123.
