Harper Junior High School students will hold a free electronic waste drive-through drop-off on Saturday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school, 4000 E Covell Blvd.
Drop off computer monitors, televisions, desktop and notebook computers, VCRs, microwaves, stereo equipment, speakers and more, all without getting out of your car. Just pop the trunk or open the door and students will unload.
The e-waste collection will benefit Harper’s peer helper program, which provides students with support ranging from classroom and homework help to counseling, welcoming and more.
Harper students have teamed up with California Electronic Asset Recovery for the event. For more information, including what can and cannot be dropped off, call (530) 757-5330.
