By
From page A5 | January 27, 2012 |

Active older adults who are interested in discussing healthy aging will gather from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Feb. 9, in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

They’re brought together by the Active Older Adult Book Group, sponsored by the library, which meets on the second Thursday of each month.

On Feb. 9, the group will share resources on aging, including articles, books, editorials, op-ed pieces, newspaper columns or letters to the editor. Participants are invited to bring materials they find helpful related to aging with good health and a positive attitude, including having a healthy body and lifestyle, an active mind and a positive attitude.

No reservations are required for this free program. The Blanchard Room is accessible for people with disabilities.

For more information, contact Joan Tuss at (530) 757-5588 or joan.tuss@yolocounty.org.
