Hear Davis’ innovation officer speak Wednesday

By From page A6 | June 23, 2013

Davis Downtown invites local businesses and community members to a brown-bag luncheon Wednesday to meet Rob White, the city’s new chief innovation officer.

White’s role is to be an advocate for economic development in Davis and to foster a business environment that supports local business interests and growth of innovation/technology companies.

This lunchtime forum will give downtown business owners and community members an opportunity to talk with White about his role in the community, his first three months on the job, and what is in store for Davis.

The meeting will run from noon to 1 p.m. in the conference room at River City Bank, 239 E St. in downtown Davis. Guests are welcome to bring a bag lunch or purchase one at any downtown eatery.

For more information, contact Davis Downtown director Stewart Savage at 530-392-8324 or [email protected].
