Count these eggs before they hatch

California Waterfowl, Tuleyome Home Place Adventures and UC Davis are seeking volunteers for a public field day to check wood duck nest boxes from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 4. Families are invited to the Putah Creek Riparian Reserve to participate in nest checking, bird banding and tracking, egg counts and more. Participants will meet at the fire ring picnic grounds on the north side of Levee Road next to the picnic area. RSVP to Sabreena Britt at 916-717-6426.
