Help the Grace Garden grow

By
From page A4 | April 24, 2013 |

Volunteers who like to get their hands dirty or who would like to learn more about gardening are invited to help out at the Grace Garden.

The garden also could use people with an interest in irrigation, orchards, planting, harvesting or construction or those who would like to work from home on administrative tasks, coordinating volunteers, planning, web updates, fundraising, etc.

Anyone who could commit to at least once of month is invited to contact Cid Barcellos, [email protected]

A perfect volunteer opportunity is Planting Day in the garden, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 27. Now is the time to plant tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and flowers. The group will start planting vegetables still in the hoop house after the Annual Plant Sale.
