High school SoCal Safari planned

By March 1, 2011

It’s time for the city of Davis Teen Program’s 12th annual SoCal Safari trip.  The SoCal Safari is designed for 12 high school students to travel with two experienced Teen Program staff members in city of Davis minivans to Southern California.

The group will visit six college campuses, take tours, experience the local atmosphere, sample the food and stay in hotels. The destinations are UC Santa Cruz, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, UC Santa Barbara, Pepperdine, University of Southern California and UCLA. This is a great way for teens to see different campuses in a safe way. They can ask questions of our recently college-graduated staff, who can offer insight into the college application process and what to look for in a school.

The trip leaves early Monday, April 4, and returns the evening of Thursday, April 7. The cost of is $490, which includes accommodations, transportation, supervision, and all meals except lunches. For more information and a cost comparison, visit http://www.davisteenscene.org or call (530) 757-5626.
