Bard’s tragedy presented

Students at Holmes Junior High School will channel their inner Shakespeare this week with three performances of “Romeo and Juliet.” The seventh-, eighth- and ninth-graders, under the direction of Holmes teacher Jeff Bryant, will perform on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Holmes multipurpose room, 1220 Drexel Drive. Rehearsing for their roles as Juliet and Romeo are Claire Bachand and Braulio Romero Bakker. The students have been rehearsing and preparing since early fall for the annual Shakespeare performance.
