Humphrey Fellow from Bangladesh will speak

By April 22, 2011

Humphrey Fellow Ekram Ullah of Bangladesh will give a talk at noon Monday at International House, Davis, about land management on the coast of Bangladesh. This is a free talk open to the public and includes a potluck luncheon. I-House is at 10 College Park.

Ullah will speak at noon, with the potluck and an informal discussion to follow. All those attending are asked to bring a dish to share.

Ullah is the senior scientific officer in the water resources planning organization of the Ministry of Water Resources in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Each year, about 10 Humphrey Fellows rent office space at International House, which serves as their office during their Humphrey year at UC Davis. It is the habit for the fellows to give a talk about their work on the first Monday of the month at I-House. These talks are always open to the public.
