Bestselling author Mike Robbins will speak to members of the Center for Spiritual Living in Davis at its noon service Sunday, Jan. 29, at 1715 Anderson Road.
Robbins also will lead, with his wife Michelle, a workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. on “Creating Spiritual Partnership: Tapping into the Transformational Power of Our Relationships.”
An offering of $25 per person is suggested but no one is ever turned away.
The husband-and-wife duo plan to present simple but effective ways to create spiritual partnership in all of our relationships — romantic, familial, personal and professional.
Participants will learn specific techniques that will allow them to make peace with themselves and those with whom they are in relationships, and to accept, appreciate and celebrate others.
“Ideas, principles and exercises laid out in this program will assist in deepening your capacity to love others and create an authentic sense of trust and true partnership,” a news release said.
Robbins is a sought-after speaker at personal growth seminars nationwide. He is the author of “Focus on the Good Stuff “and “Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Already Taken,” which have been translated into 10 languages.
He and his work have been featured on ABC News, the Oprah Radio Network, Montel Williams’ “Across America,” and local TV and radio shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Salt Lake City.
