I-80 lanes will be closed for repairs

Some eastbound and westbound lanes on Interstate 80 between Vacaville and Dixon will be closed overnight in the coming week as Caltrans starts lane repair work.

Up to two of three lanes of westbound I-80 between Leisure Town Road in Vacaville and the Highway 113/I-80 interchange in Dixon will be closed. The closures will be from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Mondays through Fridays, Caltrans announced.

Up to two of three lanes of eastbound I-80 on the same stretch of highway also will be closed, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. All work is subject to weather conditions.

Caltrans will install changeable message signs and motorists are advised to allow for extra travel time.
