Reagan, a friendly and playful 1-year-old spayed female Rottweiler, and Pia, a calm and loving 3-year-old spayed female terrier, are two of the dogs available for adoption Saturday at Tractor Supply, 1390 E. Main St. in Woodland. The event, sponsored by Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature mule rides, a petting zoo, hot dogs to munch and dozens of dogs available for adoption. Zoie, a dog owned by former Sacramento Kings star Chris Webber, will be on hand for paw print autographs. All dogs available for adoption are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped and current on their shots. They all come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at (530) 681-1326.
