Yolo County’s Art and Ag Project not only develops a dialog between farmers, artists and local communities but it also brings awareness to the importance of protecting farmland and visual arts. Through the Artist-to-Farm Visit Program, Yolo County farmers allow artists access to their property July through November. Art created from these visits will be showcased at the Art Farm Exhibition Gala on Nov. 2.
The most recent visit was to Pollock Farms in Woodland. Painters and photographers descended upon the 137 acres to find inspiration.
