Interfaith children’s musical seeks young actors

Boys and girls in first through sixth grades are invited to sign up Sunday to perform in the 12th annual interfaith children’s musical “Oh Jonah!”

This “whale of a tale” is written by Allen Pote and Carole McCann and directed by Janie Knudsen.

Rehearsals are from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sundays beginning this week (registration day) and continuing Feb. 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16, 30 and April 6, 13, 27.

Dress rehearsals are from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 640 Hawthorn Lane, and 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Congregation Bet Haverim, 1715 Anderson Road.

Performances will be May 11 at St. Martin’s and May 18 at Bet Haverim.
