The Janene Beronio for Judge 2014 Committee has announced its leadership team. Judge Steve Mock is the campaign chairman and Judges Dave Rosenberg and Dan Maguire will serve as senior advisers.

Mock, the longest-serving judge on the Yolo Superior Court, has announced his retirement; his is the open seat that has attracted four candidates, including Beronio. A former prosecutor with the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office, Beronio has served as a Yolo court commissioner for 20 years.

Rosenberg is a former member of the Davis City Council and Yolo County Board of Supervisors, and twice has been elected to the Yolo Superior Court bench. Maguire was a candidate in a contested judicial election in 2012 and retained his seat with more than 75 percent of the vote. Both are Davis residents.
