Junior highs plan parent information meetings

Emerson, Harper and Holmes junior high schools will hold parent/guardian information meetings for incoming seventh-, eighth- and ninth-grade student planning for the 2014-15 school year on the following dates:

* Emerson, 2121 Calaveras Ave., meetings are in the library from 6 to 7:30 p.m.: incoming seventh grade, Tuesday March 4; incoming eighth grade, Wednesday, Feb. 26; and incoming ninth grade, Thursday, Feb. 27.

* Harper Junior High, 4000 E. Covell Blvd., meetings are in the multipurpose room from 6:45 to 8 p.m.: seventh grade, Monday March 3; eighth grade, Thursday, March 13; and ninth grade, Thursday, Feb. 13 (already held).

* Holmes Junior High, 1220 Drexel Drive, meetings are in the multipurpose room from 6 to 7:30 p.m.: seventh grade, Wednesday, March 12; eighth grade, Wednesday, Feb. 26; and ninth grade, Wednesday, Feb. 19.

All families also are invited to attend the schools’ open houses, from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Holmes; from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Harper; and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at Emerson.
