Kids can paint their own Breyer horses at Davis store

By From page A3 | July 23, 2014

Avid Reader Active will host a Breyer Fun Day from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26. The store is at 605 Second St. in downtown Davis.

At the event, young visitors will be able to paint their own Breyer model horses. Participation is free, but supplies are limited, so kids are encouraged to arrive early and be ready to paint.

Breyer Animal Creations began as the Breyer Molding Company, a Chicago-based plastics manufacturing company. Its first model horse, the No. 57 Western Horse, made its appearance in 1950.
