Learn about Davis Media Access programs at orientation

Davis Media Access will offer a free orientation from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at 1623 Fifth St. Production manager Jeff Shaw will cover:

* An overview of DMA’s services, including digital equipment, media training, low-power FM radio, youth media projects, local studio productions, event coverage, and advocacy and information for broader media issues; and

* Information about internships, and training and volunteer opportunities available through DMA.

Reservation is appreciated but drop-ins are welcome. To register, visit davismedia.org/content/general-orientation-27.

DMA is the nonprofit community media center whose main projects are DCTV Channel 15, public access television on the Comcast cable system; educational access Channel 17 on Comcast; and KDRT-LP, 95.7 FM, a low-power community radio station.
