Learn all about spiders in our world

By From page A3 | July 18, 2013

Explorit Science Center staffers will bring their popular spider program to the Cache Creek Nature Preserve at 10 a.m. Saturday.

“Join us as we search high and low for spiders in on the nature preserve and collect data that can be used by scientists,” a news release said. “Come see some really big spiders, join the citizen science movement and learn about where spiders are geographically. We will be taking pictures of spiders, so bring your camera.”

All ages are welcome at the free program. Admission to the preserve also is free.

The preserve, 34199 County Road 20 west of Woodland, will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 530-661-1070 or email [email protected].
