By From page A6 | May 01, 2014

Local residents are invited to join Davis’ own New York Times bestselling author, John Lescroart, as he reads from and talks about his latest novel, “The Keeper,” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 6. The party will be at the Davis Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St., and features live music by Zorelli.

All are welcome and no tickets are necessary.

“The Keeper” is described as “a riveting new novel of betrayal, corruption and murder.”

“Powerful and unputdownable, Lescroart’s ‘The Keeper’ will keep you guessing until its shockingly satisfying conclusion,” a news release said.

Lescroart is the author of 24 previous novels (16 New York Times bestsellers), including “The 13th Juror,” “Damage,” “The Hunter” and, most recently, “The Ophelia Cut.” His books have sold more than 10 million copies and have been translated into 22 languages in 75 countries.
