A team of volunteer Davis High School students will provide the community with basic computer help from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursdays at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.
This free assistance will cover general computer skills, such as logging onto library computers; setting up and using email accounts; attaching, resizing and printing pictures; watching DVDs; and accessing the Yolo County Library’s digital media collection, powered by OverDrive, to download eBooks and audiobooks.
“We are pleased to be able to facilitate this Davis High School community service opportunity for the benefit of the community,” said Yolo County Librarian Patty Wong. “Not only do these students bring technical expertise, they also have the ability to translate their expertise for our Cantonese, Mandarin, Nepali and Hindi speaking patrons.”
No reservations are required.
