On Monday, March 21, the Linux Users Group of Davis will host a talk on “Full Scale Flight Simulators,” presented by LFS Technologies, which has created a suite of hardware, electronics and software, integrated with open source software such as Linux and FlightGear, to produce flight simulators used by the likes of NASA/Ames and the Global Explorer program.
The meeting runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis. It is free and open to the public.
