Under the watchful eye of Community Services Superintendent Samantha Wallace, left, Mary Crommelin, center, and Lorell Bertolone figure out how to work a portable tablet computer at last week’s inaugural Connections Café at the Davis Senior Center. The Connections Café will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays in the Valente Room at the Senior Center, 646 A St. Seniors will be able to try out iPads, e-readers and netbooks using the center’s free Wi-Fi connection. Coffee, tea and pastries from Common Grounds will be available for purchase. For more information, call 530-753-5206. Sue Cockrell/Enterprise photo
