Thinking about a Valentine’s Day gift for your favorite home cook or Farmers Market shopper?

“The Davis Farmers Market Cookbook” (Mirabelle Press, $24.95) will delight any food lover, and authors Georgeanne Brennan and Ann Evans will be at the market from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday to sign and inscribe cookbooks for that special someone. Cookbooks purchased Saturday will include free Valentine’s Day gift-wrapping.

Last year, the cookbook received two national awards: first place for nonfiction in the Writer’s Digest 2012 Contest for Self-Published Books and first place in the 2012 National Indie Excellence Book Awards, in the Regional Cookbook category. Brennan and Evans netted a $1,000 cash prize for the Writer’s Digest honor and will have their cookbook featured in the March issue of Writer’s Digest Magazine.

For more information, visit www.davisfarmersmarket.org or call the market office at 530-756-1695.
