Meet blind photographer at open house Sunday

Pete Eckert, founder of the Blind Photographers Guild, will show his work in May at Gallery 1855 at the Davis Cemetery District office, 820 Pole Line Road.

Eckert is internationally known and has won many awards. He will be honored at a free reception and open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For more information, call (530) 756-7807 or visit www.daviscemetery.org.
