By From page A4 | February 22, 2012

The documentary film “From The River To The Sea” will be shown at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis. The movie takes its title from the Palestinian belief that “Palestine” stretches from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, and the desire of the so-called Palestinian refugees (and their descendants) from 1948 to return to what is now Israel.

“The movie documents how these Palestinians have been shamefully used as pawns for the last 63 years by Arab leaders, Palestinian leaders and by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency,” a news release said.

This film is presented by the Davis Interfaith Coalition for Peace and Justice in the Middle East. Admission is free.
