Trucks hauling dirt from the Woodland-Davis water treatment facility construction site to fill in part of The Cannery site move through the intersection at Pole Line Road and East Covell Boulevard on Monday. The project, run by contractor CH2M Hill, will haul about 80,000 cubic yards of soil, or about 10,000 truckloads, between now and Aug. 25. CH2M Hill estimates that, at most, a truck will leave the surface water treatment plant for The Cannery every two to three minutes, with a total of 20 to 30 trucks traveling on this route at one time. In addition, the northbound right lane will be closed at the intersection of County Roads 24 and 102.
