Museum brick ceremony delayed

By From page A5 | May 09, 2012

Due to a problem with the production of the bricks for the Hattie Weber Rose Garden, the dedication ceremony and reception scheduled for Saturday will be delayed for at least two weeks, a museum spokeswoman said. Brick donors will be notified of the new date as soon as the finished bricks are in hand at the museum.

A feature of the brick addition celebration this year will be the installation of a ceramic plaque centerpiece created and donated by Susan Shelton, a nationally known Davis artist. The multi-colored piece features hummingbirds, roses and the name “Hattie Weber Rose Garden.”

The museum is at 445 C St. in downtown Davis.
