By From page A5 | August 12, 2014

Curious about NAMI-Yolo and what it does? Wondering if there might be a role for you in working to maintain and strengthen a community of mental health wellness in Yolo County?

If so, you’re invited to NAMI-Yolo’s volunteer open house, a chance to learn more about the organization and its volunteer opportunities.

“There is no commitment for just coming and checking us out,” a news release said. “We want to share information about our programs and ways you might help. We promise to serve cookies, too!”

The open house will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, in the community room of César Chávez Plaza Apartments, 1220 Olive Drive in Davis. For more information, call Pamela Martineau at 530-219-1983.
