NAMI-Yolo hosts fundraising dinner

NAMI-Yolo, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, announces that its flagship event of the year — the Pat Williams Mental Health Dinner — will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St.

The keynote speaker is Jessica Cruz, executive director of NAMI California, speaking on “Leading the Way — Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” She will cover how NAMI began, the impact it has had, what it’s doing to create positive change, hope and resilience and what the future holds.

Tickets are $40 general, $10 for students and $3 for mental health clients. Tickets are available by sending a check to NAMI-Yolo, P.O. Box 447, Davis, CA 95617, or by calling 530-756-8181. The event will be catered by The Buckhorn Steakhouse in Winters. For more information, visit www.namiyolo.org.
