Doogie, a sweet and playful 10-month-old neutered male mastiff mix, is a graduate of the Yolo Canine Academy’s six-week obedience training class, so he knows all of his commands and walks well on leash. Dwight is a cuddly 1-year-old neutered male poodle mix. Both dogs love people of all ages, play well with other dogs and would make great family pets. They and many other dogs will be available for adoption from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29. The resort is between Roads 94 and 95, a half-miles west of the Yolo County Airport. All of the dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on their shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
