Chief, a 10-month-old to 1-year-old neutered male pug mix, is a cheerful boy who is happiest being in someone’s lap or playing with other dogs. Noelle is a large, friendly 1-year-old spayed female purebred Rottweiler. She loves long walks and hanging out with her human friends. Both dogs would make great family pets. They and many other dogs will be available for adoption from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue. The event will be at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29, between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport.¬†All of the dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on their shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
