Kirby is an 18-month-old sweet and loving neutered male German shepherd who is full of puppy fun. Maximus is a friendly 18-month-old neutered male purebred Rottweiler who’s obedience-trained, walks well on a leash and loves to play. Both dogs come with free lifetime obedience training classes; they are two of more than 55 dogs available for adoption from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue. The rescue organization is at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland, between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All of the dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped and current on their shots. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at (530) 681-1326 or leave a message at (530) 661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
