Posey is a 1 to 1 1/2-year-old purebred spayed female German shepherd with a shiny black coat. She’s a happy, sweet girl who loves to play and would make a great jogging partner. Breezy is a 1-year-old spayed female Rottweiler/German shepherd cross. She’s a super-friendly girl who loves everyone and plays well with other dogs. Both dogs would make great family pets. Come meet Posey, Breezy and some of the 50 other adoptable dogs at an adoption event Saturday hosted by Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue. The event runs from 8 to 11 a.m. at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland, between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. To see some of the many dogs available for adoption, visit RottsOfFriends.com. All dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
