Batman is an 18-month to 2-year-old neutered male Basenji with perhaps a little something else thrown in. He’s just a little guy but he has a huge, friendly personality. Hopper is a 2-year-old neutered male purebred Rottweiler, who loves people, knows some obedience commands and is full of energy. He would do best in a home with all adults or older children. They are just two of the many dogs available for adoption through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue at Saturday’s event, from 8 to 11 a.m. at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland. The resort is between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All available dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or visit www.RottsOfFriends.com.
