Flaura is a 1 1/2- to 2-year-old spayed female pointer/border collie cross. A happy, playful dog, she loves people of all ages and plays well with other dogs. Dusty is a 1-year-old neutered male Labrador retriever with a little something else thrown in. Dusty completed Yolo Canine Academy’s six-week obedience training course so he knows his commands and walks well on leash. He loves to play in water and is eager to please. Meet Flaura, Dusty and some of the 50 other dogs looking for homes during Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue’s adoption event from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland. The resort is between County Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or visit RottsOfFriends.com. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
