Petie is a 2-year-old tri-colored neutered male beagle/dachshund cross with a great personality. He loves to play but he also enjoys being held and cuddled. He gets along well with other dogs. Bailey is a 10-month-old spayed female black purebred German shepherd. She loves to play in water and is smart, eager to please and has a gentle nature. Bailey would make a great jogging or hiking partner. Come meet Petie, Bailey and some of the other 55 dogs looking for homes during Rotts of Friends’ adoption event on Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. The event will be at the 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland, between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or visit RottsOfFriends.com. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
