Zoe and Sugar — along with many other adoptable dogs of all ages and breeds — will be at Pet Extreme, 2091 Bronze Star Drive in Woodland next to Costco, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The event will benefit Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue.

All dogs available for adoption are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped and current on their shots. They all come with free lifetime obedience training classes.

In addition, Doogie, the severely abused puppy rescued by Rotts of Friends, has gained some weight and will come join the fun. The reward for information leading to the arrest of Doogie’s previous owner has been raised to $2,400, thanks to private donations.

Nationally renowned dog trainer Renee Lancaster from Yolo Canine Academy will be on hand for free behavior consultation for your pet. Refreshments also will be available.

For more information, call Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
