New workshops set at Davis Media Access

Davis Media Access announces two new workshops this spring.
Introduction to FinalCut Pro X: Basic Editing and Media Management will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20. This short demonstration workshop is intended to familiarize participants with Final Cut Pro X (FCPX), as well show them options for interfacing with the FCPX edit suites at DMA. It is taught by Jeff Shaw and Alex Silva-Sadder.
Social Media for Parents offers an overview of common social media platforms, their characteristics and common concerns, and will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13. It is taught by Autumn Labbé-Renault.

Both workshops take place at Davis Media Access, 1623 Fifth St., adjacent to the Redwood Barn Nursery. Registration is required; a $10 fee will be charged. For more information and to register, visit davismedia.org.
