By From page A4 | June 10, 2014

Author and illustrator Arree Chung will be at The Avid Reader, 617 Second St. in Davis, at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 14, to discuss his first book for children, “Ninja!”

Kirkus Reviews wrote about the book, “High-flying fun to be read aloud or independently.”

All children who show up to the event wearing ninja or martial arts gear will receive a free ninja print.

Chung has worked in video games as a designer and art director. He received his ninja training at Art Center College of Design. When he is not practicing his ninja moves, you can find him playing basketball or riding his bike.

“Ninja!” is the first book Chung has written and illustrated. He lives in the San Francisco Bay area with his family.
