Nothing like a fresh coat of paint to brighten up a room — or even better, a house.
Safe Harbor House of Yolo Community Care Continuum is looking brighter today thanks to the seventh annual Brooks Painting charity paint giveaway.
The Woodland nonprofit was the beneficiary of an online voting poll, courtesy of Wyman Design.
Brooks Painting donated $10,000 worth of painting services to the YCCC facility. Paint materials were donated by Sherwin Williams Paints, lunch for the workers was compliments of The Davis Graduate and Ink Monkey Graphics provided T-shirts.
Safe Harbor House, which was established in 1980, is a residential facility to help better the lives of people with mental illness. The house has 14 beds, and takes men and women who are 18 years old or older.
