Norwood 4-H Club plans carwash

By February 24, 2011

A carwash fundraiser is one of the activities that will be discussed at Wednesday’s meeting of the Norwood 4-H Club. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Holmes Junior High School, 1220 Drexel Drive.

The carwash will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nugget Market on Covell Boulevard. Members will make plans for the Yolo County 4-H Spring Show, which will be April 29 through May 1 at the Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland.

Adult community members are invited to Yolo County 4-H’s annual Green & White Social, which begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at West Plainfield Fire Department, 24905 County Road 95, in Davis. Admission is $10 and includes a tri-tip barbecue dinner, homemade desserts and live auction.

The public is always welcome at the club’s meetings, which are on the first Wednesday of each month.

For more information on 4-H or for tickets to the social, contact Angie Malloy at (530) 756-7104 or e-mail [email protected]
