By From page A3 | August 06, 2014

Davis Community Church Nursery School, a parent cooperative in its 41st year of operation, has some openings for the 2014-15 school year. The programs are for children 15 months to 5 years of age. School begins in September.

DCCNS offers an Early Explorers program for children ages 15-24 months. Parents stay with their youngsters while an experienced facilitator directs each class through special, age-appropriate activities that are planned. Classes meet Friday afternoons.

The Toddler program, for children ages 24-36 months, offers classes on Monday and Friday mornings. This program is led by an experienced head teacher and assistant teacher. Parents participate every other week.

The three-day programs, for 3- to 5-year-olds, meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings and afternoons. Parents participate two to three times a month. Experienced, credentialed teachers teach the classes.

DCCNS is at 412 C St. For more information, call 530-758-2940, visit dccns.org or email the registrar at [email protected]
