Oakley to hold office hours in Davis

By From page A4 | April 25, 2014

Yolo County Clerk/Recorder Freddie Oakley will hold “office hours” from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Peet’s Coffee & Tea in The Marketplace shopping center, 1451 W. Covell Blvd.

“I am always available for meetings at my office in Woodland,” Oakley said, “but it seems to make sense to be available elsewhere in the county for folks who might not find it convenient to go to Woodland.”

This is one of the busiest times for the Yolo County Elections Office, which she oversees.
“There are plenty of things going on in elections that are worth discussing,” Oakley said. “I would really like to hear what people are thinking and discuss the challenges we can expect in the future.”

Oakley, who is in her third term as clerk-recorder, is on the June ballot for the newly combined office of clerk-recorder-assessor.
